and it continues......................

i was eager to share some of the struggles of women around me . this post is just to put some light on the pain and struggle of normal women and to reveal the fact that no women is less than exception.she is wonder and star in herself and for the people dependent on her.

i really want to share the story of women i see daily. its none other but the painful story of my neighbor. i talked to her to know about her life and the story starts when she was a young teenage.it was the year 1984. she was studying good and living happy life with her brother and parents .but as said life is not easy. her parents and brother were killed in 1984 riots. and it was the beginning of struggle ...she was raised in Sikh gurudwara at Delhi. to her getting two meals were a big thank to god education lay far away even from her   imagination. at 18 she was married to truck driver.and it was like beginning of new life. she carried many dreams with her for her new life. but she had to see other side of life too. since she was married by gurudwara committee in a very simple way , the greedy mother-in law cannot let the thoughts go away that "bahu" hasn't bought any dowry and torturing started.there was only one line in her mother in laws mouth" what happened to my thoughts when i made my son married to an orphan , why haven't i thought that from where this poor girl will bring dowry"!

and with time in this hard life she was blessed with girl child. as usual there was sadness all around in the family. and all time famous line came from all sides" very bad thing happened, god should have blessed you with son, anyhow lets pray your nest child should be baby boy". and next year that lady was again blessed with baby girl. this time she was tortured too much and second baby girl was not welcomed at all. and after 2 years she was blessed with baby boy. and she was little bit relieved that it may make her life easy

but there was one tragedy for her. her husband became addicted to drugs and eventually left earning and all the time he roamed here . now the responsibility of raising kids was on her..

she wasn't educated. but she had to raise her kids. she started working on several houses as domestic servant. whole the day she would work feed her children and husband.and got her children admitted in school. she sometimes stay hungry due to shortage of food but never lead her family to suffer hunger.

i daily see her working hard all the day . after asking question about her life i was really quite but i had to ask one more important question and it was " still, you do more than hardwork , i mean isn't it too much. you'll cause damage to your health" and the answer was " what i can do, its the feminism inside me that is willing to do everything for my family. on one side i feel i am wife other side i feel i am mother and obviously its my duty to do for them..."

well, i had a little smile on my face and was thinking that yes, this is the women. she readily suffers pain but never let others to suffer. she is statue of sacrifice and river of love. .......its women only. its only her..."

there must be question inside you that its just a normal story . but behind this normal story just think the greatness of a woman.husband just love his drugs or alcohol and goes to his peace sleep when he gets it or is violent if he get it in large quantity. but its only the woman in form of mother and wife who care to feed them both even for it she had to suffer a lot!

and why to go far away,we just need to look in our family. most probably mother. was there any emergency for her to take our care , hold us in her arms when we cried and feed us first if there was'nt sufficient food. its a long way to understand the word woman. i agree there are some women really doing well in there fields but at one point we'll definitely come to know that if somehow, ( not all) women are free of physical torture , pressure  or violence . still today there is mental pressure  on her. whether its society or family . time has changed many things. but still the position isn't perfect. still she is lacking her mental freedom . i am going little out from my topic but this was also important to share.there  are  days related to some famous personalities and we celebrate them.but why in this busy life we ignore the greatest power in the world-women .its really logical to devote one day for the women. for our mothers, sisters, wives and friends...........

all women , each and every women in any corner of world acc. to me are great. and 8 march was really important day for women. on this day atleast  we youngsters  get opportunity to dedicate something  to great powers and aware the people (  see what happens in Haryana,  Rajasthan and backward areas of Punjab) about the evil practices. if we celebrate van mahostav to plant tree. we should celebrate women's day to devote respect to women and promote their well-being , good status and respect in society.

even the day women will be free of all the problems or equal to men i must say women's day should be celebrated then also to show the  respect of society towards women.
