Meeting ends!

I haven't forgotten
That I am just one person,
That I am but one voice
Attempting to stand out
From the crowd.

I remember
That I have fallen
Amidst the laughter
That surrounds me, and that sometimes
It gets too loud.

I know
That I can't sit here
And expect my silence
To evoke change
Without reason.

I can see
That I don't know everything,
That I can't expect
My hand to be held
Always.

I can feel
That time is slipping
By me, that it
Will be gone if I just
Stand still.

I've been told
That it's not enough to
Wish for dreams, that I
Have to work them
Into reality.

I know that I don't know
All that I think I know.
I know I won't see all of
The places I wish to go.
I know I'm not ready
For all that the world demands,
You don't have to always hold me,
Just let me see your hands.

I know
That there's a lot
That I won't understand,
That you don't have all
Of the answers.

I haven't forgotten
That I have to grow up
And someday live without
Your voice, your opinion--
Making my own decisions.

I know that I don't know
All that I think I know.
I know that I may not see all
Of the places I want to someday go.
I know I'm not ready for everything
That I won't always understand
You don't have to always hold me
But sometimes. . .
Just let me see your
Hands....

dedicated to :my loveliest friends, parents and people who are always there for me. in every situation they try to teach me and direct me towards right path by any method :)

Does digital world kills creativity?

it is the digital world .yes of-course we can use phone to share pictures, messages and videos in mere seconds. also same device can  serve as a medium for the working world: emails continuously come, LinkedIn requests buzz and has that important new contacts on twitter or Facebook?
yes, digital world brought many changes in our life. both +ve and _ve. but here the point is
"has digital world killed creativity"?

According to  Mashable.com, "while our current age of digital disruption has opened a cornucopia of new casual creative endeavors, the networked generation’s ability to multitask — and the constant need for instantaneous action — may also be hindering creativity."

Consider this,
according to stateofcreativity.com
"a recent research shows that in a  global study, three-quarters of respondents said their creative potential is being stifled. More than 60% of American said their education systems kill creativity, and a majority of total respondents said pressure at work hurts creativity. Yet 80% of respondents worldwide said allowing creativity to flourish is critical to economic growth.

Those numbers come from a recent survey of 5,000 adults in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France and Japan. The study was commissioned by software giant Adobe

Given that Adobe just released the latest version of its wildly popular Creative Suite line of products including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, it’s no surprise the company would play up the need for a more hospitable climate for experimentation. But the study’s findings do indicate that people worldwide feel unfulfilled creatively"

so, from above data provided did you really feel that digital world kills creativity? well as said every coin has two faces. same case can be considered here.
if on one side side technology and digital world has increased the work load and reduced the time for leisure activities that helped to enhanced creativity on other side had also brought the new gadgets , software and other talent/creativity enhancing things which takes us far away from the old pen-paper style and gives new colors to our talents by providing excellent and never seen before tools..
also at both work and school, there has never been a time when personal creative potential has been greater. If people can just use technology to express their ideas in different ways, then there is more opportunity to be creative. When else has there been a time when someone on their pho People can be creative with technology’s assistance, make inroads to successful change; but still have time for expression with Arts and Drama, Music if we all ‘stop to smell the roses’!!
The challenge is to keep up with a world that’s always in flux.
both aspects weight equal. does it really kills or enhances depends upon our thinking!
